HARIPUR MARATHON – 16TH AUGUST 2025
Every participant must accept and acknowledge that participating in Haripur Marathon on 16th August 2025, being organised by Crazy Mad Dogs, is by its nature likely to involve actual risk and danger to life as a consequence of (but not limited to) the hazards of running and travelling in mountainous terrain, accident or illness in remote areas (lacking proper medical facilities), animal attacks, the forces of nature and the like. Such serious perils may endanger your life. You are urged to consider personal risks to your health and safety before accepting to participate in the event.
Crazy Mad Dogs Obligations & Clauses of Force Majeure:
I. Crazy Mad Dogs accepts the responsibility of ensuring that the event will be held as close as possible to the plan and itineraries described to you and agreed upon.
II. You accept and understand that due to the nature of travel to Himachal Pradesh, it may be necessary to adjust and amend the itineraries and that the final decision for this will be made by the organiser. In case any such amendments are made the participants of the event will not be entitled to any refund.
III. We will not be liable for any financial loss or extra cost that may be incurred due to cancellation of part or the whole event due to Force Majeure or local unrest or due to political or military situation or due to any pandemic threat.
IV. In the event that such a change does warrant an additional cost it will be borne by each individual participant of the event.
V. If by any reason of any event of Force Majeure we shall be delayed in or prevented from performing the services or compiling with any of the conditions such delay or nonperformance shall not be deemed to be breach of contract and/or the conditions and no loss or damage shall be claimed by you from Crazy Mad Dogs and/or any of our associates by reason thereof.
VI. Should the exercise of services, rights and obligations under contract and/or conditions be materially hampered interrupted or interfered with by any reason of any event of Force Majeure then our obligations shall be suspended during the period of such hamper, interference or interruption and shall be postponed for a period of time equivalent to the period or periods of suspension.
VII. We will use our best endeavors to minimize and reduce any periods of suspension occasioned by any of the aforesaid events.
VIII. Crazy Mad Dogs will not be responsible or liable for any injuries, illness, trauma or fatality, or loss and damage to your personal belongings, that may occur to you during the course of the event.
INDEMNITY BOND
I. This is to state that I am aware of the risks inherent in the Haripur Marathon running event being organised by Crazy Mad Dogs on 16th August 2025.
II. I understand and agree that that Crazy Mad Dogs and their associates take all necessary precautions to minimize this risk and avoid any accidents and ensure safe participation in this tour/event.
III. I hereby agree to participate in this event//tour on my own free will and decision.
IV. I am also aware that Crazy Mad Dogs has the right to make any necessary changes to the event plan and itinerary without prior notice to accommodate conditions depending on weather, acts of nature and Force Majeure.
V. I agree that any extra cost incurred due to such changes will be borne by me.
VI. I agree to reimburse the cost for any extra services other than marathon running event.
VII. I have consulted Medical Practitioner in connection with my existing or any previous illness or disability, which may affect my participation in this event/tour which involves travel to places of high altitudes and involves physical exertion. Based on my General Practitioners advice I agree to participate in this tour having understood fully the implications on my health due to such travel to such places.
By signing the form below, I undertake and confirm to Crazy Mad Dogs that I am sufficiently fit both mentally and physically to join and participate in the event/tour. I also agree to reimburse any costs incurred for me for my medical and health requirements, or any other needs that might arise during the trip. I have read the above statements and the Terms & Conditions, and the Indemnity Bond and understand the contents fully. I realize and agree that the same serves as an agreement of assumption of risk by me and release Crazy Mad Dogs and their associates of all responsibility and liability.
